Summary/Abstract: Pedagogy is the object of specific demands of LGBT community. The first of them is the denial of <heteronormativity>. Due to different concepts of pedagogy there are differences between responses to the request. Classical pedagogy is based on the principle of reality which includes a duty of fidelity to the objective truth about man. Man is a rational being, capable and obligated to discover the objective truth (animal rationale), and with the power of self-determination. The duty to shape one`s sexuality according to the objective truth is based on these roots. The objective meaning of sexuality, man`s masculinity and feminity, embraces the procreative power which is linked with a particular capacity of expressing love between man and woman, in which man becomes a gift. Sexual relationship is therefore considered as heterosexual. Modern pedagogy – having many different forms – refuse „the reality principle” and departs from „heteronormativity”, because of subjectivisation of sexual education directed to satisfying desires. Postmodern pedagogy denies any form of essentialism and therefore heteronormativisation is considered a social construct.
