Crisis situation and selected behaviors in SME sector entities

Summary/Abstract: Unexpected events that can be the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced extraordinary business behavior. The aim of the article is an empirical analysis of selected behavior of small and medium-sized enterprises in a crisis situation that was generated by the fact that. Information on the change in the behavior of a research company through a survey among managers and owners of 400 small and medium-sized enterprises at the end of 2020. The information collected was subjected to an effective cross-section using the technique of analytical grouping and contingency tables. The results of the research show that the management staff and owners of the company notice the reaction to a crisis situation on their company's operation, among others, in the area of employee relations, support for development or management.
