Summary/Abstract: The subject of the present article are stable comparisons with name of ethnicity. It is part of a linguistic and linguoculturological study on stable comparisonsin Bulgarian and Russian. The material excerpted from dictionaries and texts from the Bulgarian National Corpus and the Russian National Corpusis studied in comparative terms. Equivalent relations are established.
