Business Development of a Healthcare Organization

Summary/Abstract: The analysis of business development and strategic management of a healthcare organization raises a number of questions of growing importance for the economics and management. The paper focuses on an example from the practice of German hospitals. The aim is to outline a vision of a modern management and development of healthcare organizations by analysing the Germany's good practice. In this regard, a concept for the management and business development is presented. The presented overview of the specifics of healthcare organizations and their innovation and construction projects shows interdisciplinary understanding. Modern equipment and innovative decisions, portfolio analysis are implemented in the healthcare organization management.
