Summary/Abstract: Тhe choice of the textbook is extremely important for the successful work in the training. In order to choose the right textbook, the teacher must know the requirements that the textbooks must meet. They should be tailored to the age characteristic of the students, as well as encourage independence and thinking. The article presents the regulations for selection of textbooks according to the normative documents.
