Social Counseling in Interaction

Summary/Abstract: In interactive modes of counseling, the humanistic approach influences the formation of methods of interaction between social workers and clients, as well as the principles and their relationship. In practice, there are different approaches in the application - psychodynamic approach, humanistic approach, behavioral approach. Social counseling is one of the priority areas of activity in the social work system, which covers a huge range of social problems. Efficiency and success largely depend not only on the professional skills of the specialist-consultant, but also on compliance with all conditions, rules and procedures of the consulting process, on professional competence in a specific matter, depending on the client's needs. This same efficiency is the prerequisite for the self-actualization of the client.
