Summary/Abstract: The monograph „The scientific contribution: Methodological analyzes. Reviewing” is the latest intellectual creation of one of the doyens of the scientific thought in Bulgaria – Prof. Christo Mutafov.The present corpus of cases of theoretical, methodological and practical – applied scientific activity is the most extensive research in Bulgaria conducted to date on the problems of knowledge assessment. The author makes a purposeful and detailed analysis, that gives the opportunity to be formulated basic ideas, conceptual statements and to be reached creative conclusions regarding science evaluation problems and their broadened interpretation. Significant is the analysis of the intimate mechanisms of the generation and formation of new knowledge and for the socio-cognitive characterization of the R&D work on a large collections of medical, biotechnological and laser technological R&D projects, carried out over decades. This analysis identifies, describes and defines a number of fundamental details in the R&D activity.On the grounds of the conducted in-depth theoretical and methodical research on the matter of evaluating the scientific contribution and of the wide firsthand experience in the performance and analysis of the evaluation procedures, Prof. Mutafov reached to a purely practical approach – the drawing-up of a form - a “pathway”, providing maximally objective reviewing of the scientific research results.
