Summary/Abstract: Prof. Ivan Sarandev, literary critic and historian, passed away on March 7, 2020. He created and led the group “Literary surveys” at the Institute of Literature of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, which conducted and published 40 literary surveys with prominent Bulgarian writers. Prof. Ivan Sarandev is the author of the literary surveys with Emilian Stanev, Dora Gabe, Elisaveta Bagryana and Valeri Petrov.
