Summary/Abstract: The focus of this paper is to outline the main themes of the contemporary christian poet Răzvan Codrescu. The author enumerates some recurring motifs such as love, sin, the spiritual struggle, the earthly temptation, the longing for eternal salvation, all these being developed from the perspective of the praying human being, beyond his lyrical hypostases.
