The social space – in serach of the essence and specificity

Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to present the essence and specificity of the social space. Having considered the ambiguity and simultaneity of the space as well as the ways of comprehending the social space, the author analyzes the issues of the interpretation of the term ‘social welfare’ and the variety of meanings of the social space. The conclusions offer a definition of the social space.
