Summary/Abstract: In the collections of the History-Archaeology Section of the Oltenia Museum, Craiova, there is a typewritten document called "Autobiography". In it, the officer Gheorghe Dragu gives details of his career up to the First World War and his activity during the conflagration. This document is a valuable source of information on the battles fought by the 55th Infantry Regiment in 1916-1917.
