Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the traces of Stanisław Przybyszewski’s oeuvre in three Anton Strashimirov’s urban novels: The Meeting, The Suspension Bridge and Bena. Strashimirov, known for his restless and impressionable artistic nature, decided to equip Sofia intellectuals with the typical obsessions of Przybyszewski’s protagonists, including the fatal power of lust or the desire for unavailable androgynous synthesis. Both plot and language of the three novels reveal inspirations by the Polish author’s “naked soul” conception.
