Summary/Abstract: Tischner’s entire work is so permeated by religious thought and theological language that the truth sometimes becomes immediately apparent, sometimes indirectly, while other times it is difficult to grasp, in a sense it eludes the sensory abilities of man. The author’s goal is to answer the question of the coherence of the Cracow thinker’s message. To answer it accurately, we must solve the problem of whether the use of religious thought and theological language in philosophical inquiry is legitimate. Tischner, faithful to the ideal of searching for the truth, constructs his thought as a perfect example of a reflection whose methodology is based on the hermeneutic spiral: it is both theological and philosophical considerations that participate in the concrete existential drama of modern man. In relation to man and only to him, to man experiencing the drama of his authenticity and the right way of being in relation to his most important Good - God himself - Tischner analyzes the experience of human existence, often using biblical inspiration and theological language, which he treats as another light that aids in thinking during the process of discovering the truth.
