Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the translation of episode titles of the popular historical costume series „The Crown” into Polish and Russian. The titles of the episodes are subdivided semantically, taking into account their connotations. Five groups have been distinguished, which refer to anthroponyms, toponyms, names of events, objects or substances. Names related to the elements of the third culture form a separate category. This includes names related to languages such as French, German, Welsh and Latin. The author also draws attention to similarities and differences in the translation of episode titles into Polish and Russian.
