Summary/Abstract: Minulescu emerged as a poet on an existing cultural and lyrical background, and his work raised the value of the Romanian and universal literary treasure. Both his poetry and his entire work propagated the symbolism in the Romanian space and brought it to its peak. Poetry is meditation, idyll, elegy that always has a "story" projected in different spaces. The whole lyrical creation possesses several nuclei of virtues that announce its own great symbolist creations. The poet brought a change of content and form to Romanian literature both by renewal and by releasing constraints. The writer goes through three aesthetic-theoretical stages, a period of research and experience, one of fullness, artistic maturity and one of artistic modernization. The Symbolist poet received from previous literary currents all that could harmonize with his restless and eager for change, he easily contracted everything that was current in the field of music, painting, philosophy, art and human sciences, having many similarities of French symbolism, German, Belgian and Romanian.
