Summary/Abstract: Although the demonic fantasy is encountered in the nineteenth century, in romantic works, it extends its tentacles in the work of subsequent writers, but without having the same evil power. Evil spirits (devil, devil, skeleton, ghost) capture the human being in actions contrary to their own will, contrary to divinity, degrade human morality, but they are humanized in the fantastic minulescian prose. The prose writer targets in an original way myths of universal literature, which over time have become the dowry of the chest of international spirituality: the famous barber of King Midas, the cursers, the Danaids. The seduction of the fantastic minulescian is a success of his prose, remaining his most spectacular epic creation. The landscape is involved in a plot with “the unclean”. The character that makes people tremble with fear, lose one or more senses (sight, speech), suffocate, change the color of their face, or even become paralyzed. In the eyes of men the unclean appears as a devilish incarnation, endowed with demonic powers.
