Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyse the aspects related to contemporary writer Sergiu Someşan’s relationship with his readers. The writer has a Facebook page where he interacts with his readers. He has engaged in dialogue with his readers by offering them books with dedication, meaning that those wanting a certain book could send him their photograph, which would be included with a dedication. He has held auctions for his books together with jewels. He is also choosing muses from the girls in his friends list, to whom he dedicates novels. All these examples are consistent with the concept of dialogic novel, but there is also much more than that. Someşan also employs intertextuality, sometimes with his own novels, games with the border between fantasy and reality, and he also prompts reader-response criticism.
