Summary/Abstract: This study is an introduction to the fictional universe in the volume Poetic Alphabet, volume of poems belonging to Ștefan Augustin Doinaș. In order to get into his poetry, it has been realised an analysis of the techniques in the field of the imaginary considered the most important. The first subchapter shows few acceptations of the concept of the imaginary, and, further, there have been studied and interpreted themes, myths, motifs, symbols, legends and as well as other particular methods of the poetic imaginary.
