Summary/Abstract: One of the most important functions of the family is to educate and train young people for becoming able to integrate into life and social activity. Within the family group, parents directly or indirectly exert educational and formative influences on their children. The family, especially the parents, by their way of behaving, is the most important social model. Also, it represents the first in the order of influences from existing social models. It possesses a decisive influence on children on the formation of their conception of life, behaviour and relationships concerning different social norms and values.
