Summary/Abstract: The present study highlights the markers of orality in George Coșbuc's poetry. Most of them are closely related to the epic dimension of his lyricism. It is a well-articulated system with multiple elements: popular phonetics, phraseological units, oral deictics, interjections, onomatopoeias, complex forms of dialogue.
