Summary/Abstract: The motive of light in Lucian Blaga's creation represents knowledge, the absolute, it is often used as a symbol of light in his lyrical works, as in the poem "I do not crush the corolla of wonders of the world", in which, through the revealing metaphors in antithesis: "light "my light" and "the light of others" is illustrated by his firm preference for Luciferic knowledge - "my light" and the categorical rejection of rational knowledge, of scientists - "the light of others". Light is also a common motif in works. its philosophical. The Blagian lyrical universe is not unitary in the way we find it in Bacovia, nor is it as diverse and polyform as the Arghezian one. He imposes himself neither by deep monotony nor by pantheism. His debuts are eloquent under the sign of the oscillation between the temptation of verse and that of meditation on art, but also of the great contemporary philosophies. The first stage is under the sign of expressionism and includes the debut volume The Poems of the World and the Prophet's Steps, which are under the sign of light, which has become the central metaphor of the birth of the universe. Light is celebrated as the primordial element, the cosmic generator of life.
