Summary/Abstract: Cultural heritage sites in Poland, which include museums, perform a cultural and educational mission. Their social character and universal accessibility should be paid to the aspect of their security also in the context of visits of the authorities of the Republic of Poland and delegations of foreign countries staying on the territory of our country. Ensuring the security of statutorily protected people is the scope of the tasks of the State Protection Service, which are carried out using forms of action and forms and methods of protection. Their selection is based on the results of conducted security threat analyses. The implementation of the safeguards carried out against the authorities residing in the museums requires the cooperation of the State Protection Service with internal security services in order to optimally ensure their safety.
