Summary/Abstract: The author – bachelor of theology and Ph. d. – compresses two methods, i.e. the conceptual theological approach and the analytical way of the contemporary philosophy, in order to point out the structure of the contemporary religious crisis. Thus, there are to be found, in the spirituality of the last century, two parallel and similar discourses concerning the paranormal phaenomena, as the archaic techiques of the ecstasy – named by Mircea Eliade „shamanism” – i.e. the approach of psychoanalysis, of transpersonal psychology, of wholly breathing etc., in a way, and in the other, the religious suggestions of the New Religious Movements as New Age. Hence, the author compels the reader to ask himself about the sense of the religious experience claimed by the two approaches, in the context of the Christian spirituality which answered two years ago.
