Summary/Abstract: The main directions of activity of Russian cultural, educational and charitable society «Talk» in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA are studied. The historical stages and forms of society’s work are shown. The role of the out-standing representatives of culture, engineering, officers in the development of educational activity of society is considered. The contribution of the society «Talk» to the emigrant intelligentsia’s unity, to the preservation of Russian national consciousness and culture in the USA is estimated.
