Some concers regarding the mass deportations of bessarabians to the USSR between 1940-1941

Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author presents a general radiography of communist repressions in Soviet Bessarabia between 1940-1941. The author makes some considerations on the nature of these repressions. The main idea of the article is that the repressions in Bessarabia were made in order to assure a strong ground for implementation of the Soviet rule in Bessarabia. The article begins with a short introduction of the origins and development of repression from 1895 to 1940. It continues by exposing the main characterisiques of Soviet repression in Bessarabia. This specific piece of writing is important because through it we can understand the communist repressions not only in Bessarabia but also in general.
