Cultural Mandarins, or the Need for Cultural Change

Summary/Abstract: An analysis of the actual debate over the supremacy by groups within Romanian cultural field stated with a short historical excursus. The results show that throughout the history Romanian culture we can find a certain continuity, which spitted intellectuals in groups, upon the model of political parties. Now, claims the author, it is the time for ending this situation, for an opening and democratization of Romanian cultural field.
