Summary/Abstract: Like all Matei Vișniecʼs novels,” Pas-Parol Coffee Shop” is full of surprises and original. In this respect, this text is based on the analyze of three important obsessions. Manase Hamburda, the main character, is obsessed to tell his own theory about danger, and he is searching for the right persons. The coffee shop is one of the most important places where the characters meet, in Matei Vișniecʼs writings, and, apparently, it can be created everywhere people are together. Mihail Iorca, another character, is obsessed by a presumed dead man, that he is continuously searching for, the death being symbolically represented all around. This research results will be part of the PhD thesis.
