Summary/Abstract: Due to the great importance of banks in the economic system and with regard to the basis of banking operations generate public and private interests, the paper studies the conceptual definition of the Bank, the division of banks, the establishment of the bank’s management of its work and operations, individualization banks, legal business and termination of the bank. When studying these areas was used primarily normative methods to find out the content of the legal norms governing the banking, primarily in the Republic of Serbia.
