Summary/Abstract: Te paper discusses the basic principles and systems of management in order to examine how they can contribute to a more efcient work of companies. Te separation of ownership and management in corporate governance has contributed to the afrmation of managers’ independence, with regard to both decision making and accountability. Without skilled managers to conduct a complicated business of corporate management, no company can be rationally organized and economically efcient. Te paper will focus on a number of corporate management principles, investigating their importance and desirable characteristics of managers.
