Summary/Abstract: Corporate governance represents a widely debated concept in the entire world – given the increasing awareness of promoting the best practices at corporate level. Many studies have demonstrated that corporate governance is also a crucial issue to restore confidence in capital markets and for long term economic growth. In most countries improving corporate governance has become a mainstream concern because weaknesses in corporate governance endangered the global financial stability.
