Summary/Abstract: Decisions concerning profit distributions marks the finality of the financial management process and materializes, by undertaking the partial or total reinvestment of net income and/or distribution of this income, as dividends to shareholders. These should harmonize the natural desire of shareholders to earn money now, with that to ensure a sustainable development of the company in the future, while aiming to achieve the objective of maximizing the value of the enterprise.
