Summary/Abstract: IPEX is a digital platform supporting interparliamentary cooperation in EU matters for almost 20 years (https://www.ipex.eu). The concept of this platform, which is by design informal and operating without bureaucratic structures, is related to the functions and tasks of parliaments enshrined in the Treaties. The publication presents in a synthetic way the evolution of IPEX in the direction indicated by the Conference of Speakers of the EU Parliaments as a one-stop shop for interparliamentary information exchange. It shows both the opportunities arising from the recent reform of IPEX and the challenges for parliaments on the way to the full implementation of the set goal.
