Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to draw attention to the new space-time of human functioning, which is the borderline between the online and offline world. The dynamics of technological progress in the third decade of the 21st century have a constant influence on the functioning of the entire human civilization. The result is the emergence of new forms of social life that function in every country, regardless of its level of economic advancement, such as, for example, online life communities present in the space of thematic groups of social networking sites. The development of the Internet space as a tool for managing the functioning of oneself and others forced man to settle in time somewhere between the analog world known from the past and the digital field setting the track of the future. The new organization of everyday activities on the border of the online and offline world is a challenge faced by anyone who wants to take an active and creative part in managing what “happens” to them in the modern world. The line separating the online world from the offline world is becoming increasingly blurred. Finding arguments for accepting both as real is no longer a challenge for the world. Therefore, since the features of both these planes are not juxtaposed against each other on the basis of a clear contrast, the question remains how to characterize their meeting point? The borderline of the online–offline world is a well-known place on the one hand and a completely new one on the other. An attempt to define this concept aims to capture the essence of the new reality which we have come to face. In this text, an attempt is made to capture the essence of the space-time of the new online–offline borderland, which aims to reflect on the prospects of research around the topic to be undertaken in the future.
