Summary/Abstract: The Slavonic translation of a Greek compilation shows a transmission over more than three centuries from two antigraphs in Glagolitic script. The heterogaphy of the six copies reviewed provides evidence of the independence of the Cyrillic transcriptions. The quality of their lessons reveals profane hands, uncomfortable with the language of the text. These circumstances give the study and editing of Slavonic texts precedence to the eclectic approach over the traditional approach based on a basic witness (reference edition), whose dogmatisation can be identified as resting on a reading of Joseph Bédier's works by Dmitry Likhachov.
