Summary/Abstract: Organised and rigorous, Nae Antonescu concentrated his work towards historical literature, towards a movement that aims to bring (back) to public and critical conscious figures and facts of literature wrongfully ignored or marginalized. Highly preoccupied with the interwar period and with Transylvanian literature, Nae Antonescu carefully directed his attention towards the ”forgotten writers”, trying to paint their literary portrait, but he also focused on the highly-ranked figures of Romanian literature. His favourite area of work regards magazines – because ”the magazine, as a periodical publication, has played a great role in advertising scientifical and literary ideas, it has offered a space where creations can be published and, in general, it has created a proper environment for spiritual manifestations”.
