Summary/Abstract: This study was carried out in order to determine the effect of the implementation of the basic design principles and elements of the secondary school 10th grade students taking the visual arts course using digital drawing programs on their environmental perception and creativity. By using the qualitative research method, the students were given the opportunity to investigate their views in depth. The study group in the research consists of students studying in the 10th grade and taking the Visual Arts course in the spring semester of 2021-2022 at Halide Gencer Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in the district of Menemen. In the research, a semi-structured interview form consisting of 12 questions was used and analyzed. In the light of the findings obtained as a result of this research; They stated that the environmental sensitivity of the students increased, and it had positive effects on their creative thinking skills.
