Summary/Abstract: In accordance with the editorial policy adopted back in 1992 a thematic expansion took place during the new democratic period of Asklepios – 1992-2009: from purely historical-medical to historical-medical-ethical to social-medical. Everything published outside the span of pure history of medicine is of course considered in a historical aspect. This is the case with articles dedicated to medical and bio-ethics.
