Summary/Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to determine the postgraduate theses written on the music education of the visually impaired, to examine these theses from different perspectives, to determine the current situation and to be a source for the studies to be done. In the study, a case study design was used. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, the subjects of the thesis are mostly music education, musical notation, instrument education and music education technology, and the problems experienced by visually impaired music teachers and students, their socialization status, school program structure, the usage status of the Braille notation system in Turkey and instrument education. It is seen that they aim to identify the problems experienced. When the results of the thesis are examined, it has been concluded that the application of the curriculum and guidebooks prepared for sighted students to blind students creates great problems, the 1-hour course is insufficient, teachers need to take an in-service training course on special education, and the resources printed in Braille alphabet are insufficient.
