Summary/Abstract: Throughout history, baroque has experienced a number of semantic permutations that defines it. The path we follow links this notion with the representations of some fictional worlds. Thus, their representation takes into consideration a typological approach to baroque, cultural reality capable of creating imaginary universes. Seen as a universal constant, the baroque gains new valences in the modern and postmodern literature, especially in the Latin American prose, where it is assimilated with the marvellous real. Choosing to discuss some aspects related to the topography of the baroque worlds, the present paper examines the work of some writers from different cultural times: ,,Labyrinth of the World and Paradise of the Heart”, written by Comenius, the novel by Mateiu Caragiale, ,,Craii de Curtea- Veche” and ,,Concert baroque”, written by Alejo Carpentier.
