Summary/Abstract: The new global developments that we have all witnessed in recent years have emphasized that public international law and its main actors contribute through their role to the development of effective corporate governance institutions and securities markets, for example. These interferences also bring certain differentiations from state to state. Currently, especially against the background of new technological developments, the examination of civil law and common law systems through direct reference to treaties, leads us to the idea that there are certain convergences. Against this background, more and more theorists launch discussions about the globalizing market and the role played by international norms in this dynamic process. All these have shaped international and comparative corporate governance. For this article, a comparative research method was used that allowed a meta-analysis of the relevant arguments that can lead to a well-founded reasoning. Mostly primary sources were used, which were supplemented with secondary sources.
