Summary/Abstract: The article gives an overview of the interior furnishings and works of art of late Baroque of 17th–18th centuries and the 19th century at the Stakliškės St. Trinity Church. With reference to the interior works of art the article anlyses their stylistic features, iconography and changes. Based on archival documents from the 18th and 19th centuries and iconographic-iconological and formal studies of the works of art of the church, the forms and meanings of artistic expression, as well as the artistic value characteristic of the period, are revealed. The main focus is on the analysis of the artistic expression, iconography and images of the church altars - retables. Using archival sources – surviving church visitations – the aim was to clarify the original iconographic programmes. Other sacral art installations and sculptural compositions which have survived in the church, and which include the baptistery, the pulpit, the sculptures are discussed.
