Procedural aspects of the computer crimes in the criminal procedurę code of 1997, after the amendments adopted in 2003

Summary/Abstract: This presentation tends to outline the issue of evidence with regard to Computer crimes (mostly based on Articles 218, 236a and 241 of the Criminal Procedure Code). It allows to State that the recent amendments to these provisions, adopted in January 2003, will probably tum out to be insufficient. The need to included further regulations conceming these pieces of evidence into the Polish criminal procedure law comes not only from the development of Computer Sciences and arising new forms of Computer crimes, but also from the necessity of adjustment of the Polish law to European standards in this respect.
