Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the book of Matteo Compagnaro dedicated to post-conciliar theology in Latin America. The reason for writing the text was many controversial statements of the author of the book. The article evaluates the structure, sources, and factual contents of the monograph by Matteo Compagnaro. The author notes important shortcomings of the work and takes issue with several claims made in the book.
