Summary/Abstract: In the article deals with vocabulary potato cultivation, past and present, and the terminology of soil preparation, planting, cultivation and excavation of potatoes in Polish dialects in the region of Mościska. The collected contributions of informants from three generations will show what the changes in it taking place in this vocabulary as a result of civilizational processes are analyzed. The material obtained in the field was verified in lexicographical sources and in further field studies.
