Summary/Abstract: This text provides only basic information about the Rome Convention and a summary comparison of its provisions and our law. We hope that its translation into Serbian, which, according to our knowledge, is now being presented to the domestic legal audience for the first time, will serve as a good basis for further in-depth analysis of its provisions and for the eventual reception of those solutions which could be adequate for our law.
