BAROQUE LITERARY CURIOSITIES IN ROMANIAN CULTURE (17TH-18TH CENTURIES)

Summary/Abstract: The 17-th and 18-th centuries will bring the modernization of literary genres into Romanian culture. In some cases, this period of time meant the birth of species that involve a craft of writing, a chisel of the word and, first of all, a sharpness of the spirit. The Baroque lives on syntheses, comparisons and analogies that result in correspondences between ideas - images - sensations; the great vocation of this literary current is the establishment of similar, yet contradictory relationships.
