Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to indicate the moral aspects of the exercise of power by the Church hierarchy in the context of social isolation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The text presents the specificity of exercising power in the Catholic Church and its relation to moral and social responsibility. It analyses the situation of decision-making in the conditions of the pandemic through the prism of the moral responsibility of the decision-maker. The conclusions of the analysis indicate numerous negligence in the way power has been exercised in the community of the Church so far, pointing to the model of shared power.
