Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to describe the moral challenges of Pope Francis’ ongoing reform of the Roman Curia, based on an analysis of nine of his speeches to Roman curialists in 2013-2021, which resulted in the publication of the Apostolic Constitution Praedicate Evangelium in 2022. The text presents the value of the ethical sensitivity of a curial worker and the need to practice certain virtues, the need to combat various problems and ‘diseases’ in curial work, as well as the responsibility of the Roman Curia for the Church itself in its ad intra dimension and for ad extra reality.
