Summary/Abstract: The present study presents the way that Dumitru Țepeneag’s narrative speech articulates between the two coordinates, the neighbor and the other. In the neighbor's horizon, the character or narrator opens to the world’s everyday spectacle, and under the sign of the far outline there is the feeling of implacable destiny, the hope of the high. Though it seems a dreamy consciousness, the short story of Dumitru Țepeneag lives in an open space, limited only by his own fears and dissatisfaction. Between and beyond, the narrator or the characters in the position of the spectators, sliding from one dream to another, wandering through the labyrinthine corridors or waiting for something that is delayed to appear.
