Summary/Abstract: The fight against organized crime and overcoming its negative consequences is set as a main goal in the updated National security strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria with a time horizon of 2018-2025. Correctly defining and distinguishing the concepts of organized criminal group and complicity is extremely important for law enforcement and the fight against organized crime In practice, the concepts of organized criminal group and complicity are often confused. This report aims to present in a short version the main difficulties in differentiating the concepts and present authors own view on the problem.
